Many thanks for a wonderful stay at Harbourside
We expected a good view from the images that you have on your web side but when we walked into the Lounge we both just said "WOW" the view is just spectacular!
Just a quick email to thank you for a great stay at Harbourside Looe which is a lovely little apartment which must have the best views in Looe, I could have sat at the window all week watching the world go by looking down on Looe Harbour - much more interesting than the TV!!!
PS will be back next year.
"Harbourside Looe Review"
11 Harbourside Looe is a lovely one double bedroom apartment with fantastic views of Looe the Harbour,  Pier and beach.. it is spotlessly clean, modern and well fitted with new appliances and has central heating, perfect for a couple or single person, as with most Cornish fishing villages there are some quite steep slops,  nearby within a 2 or 3 minute walk are shops and the Jolly Sailor pub and bus stop. It is also on the Cornish coastal path for those who like to walk! - We would not hesitate to recommend Harbourside to Friends and Family.
Hi "Happy New Year" we had a very nice time at Harbourside just before Christmas we were not expecting a real Christmas tree! which was a very nice touch! And much appreciated - Attached is an image that I took of the Christmas lights along the harbour.
Looking forward to returning in the summer - many thanks.
We had a great holiday and as mentioned in the reviews the view is indeed "spectacular" we liked to have breakfast watching the fishing boats go out
We stayed at 11 Harbourside for a week in June . The apartment is ideal for two people, well furnished, pleasantly decorated and with good equipment  The views from the apartment are stunning, you can see over East Looe, down the river and across the bay it is far more entertaining than the TV. It is in a good location being close to shops and pubs and a short walk away is free car parking and Looe is a delightful holiday destination.
We had a very good holiday and would recommend the accommodation which is in a brilliant location.

Thank you for a fantastic break. We loved the apartment. The location and views are stunning. We ate in most nights and enjoyed buying fresh fish from the fishmongers then cooking it in the well equipped kitchen. We hope to return soon. Thank you once again.
Fab apartment with amazing views. Great Location, would definitely go back.
Loved out little holiday in Looe . We stayed in flat 11 Harbourside. I must say this is a very comfortable apartment. The views are stunning. The location was great for us. We love walking so were able to walk the cliff path along to Polperro

Local Information
Older West Looe is only a 2 minute walk from Harbourside Holiday Apartment and was first mentioned in documents dating from the 13th century and is part of the Looe Heritage Trail  as well as the Old Quay there is the "Jolly Sailor Inn" reputed to be the oldest pub in Looe and one of the oldest in the country known as the "jolly" to locals steeped in history with the main beam above the bar coming from a French ship from the battle of Trafalgar,
There is also a excellent Traditional Butchers shop several general stores including a well stocked Spar, Delicatessen, Cafe , Tea room, Restaurants etc.
East & West Looe are separated by Historic Looe Bridge, A wooden one was believed to have been built in 1411 This was replaced by a stone one in 1436 and had a chapel in the middle. The current granite seven arched bridge dates back to 1853.
Looe Island - real name St George's Island Is situated 1 mile off the coast and can be easily seen from the South West Coastal Path normally only accessible by boat, but at extremely low spring tides, it can be reached on foot and is now owned by Cornwall Wildlife Trust
A Benedictine chapel was built on the island in 1139 and Legend has it that Joseph of Arimethea landed there, but was mostly used by Cornish Smugglers hiding contraband from the customs men!
